Heavy Horse Weekend - Richmond Tafe

In response to the over whelming demand from the "Farming Small Areas Expo 08", the Equine Centre at Richmond Tafe is conducting their first (of many) Heavy Horse Weekends for 2009.

The first weekend is scheduled for March 7 and 8, 2009. A host of demonstrations focusing on the Handling, Harnessing and Driving of the Heavy Horse will be conducted, plus the added attraction of lots of "hands on" for all the participants.

This will prove to be a wonderful opportunity to gain some unique insights into the World of the Heavy Horse. Demonstrations including Breaking - in and Show Preparation will also be offered during the course of the weekend.

Course participants are encouraged to bring along their own Heavy Horse and auditors (spectators) are also very welcome. The BBQ lunches will no doubt give everybody a wonderful opportunity to swap ideas and make new friends.

If you would like to be a part of the resurgence of the Heavy Horse in the Hawkesbury or indeed express your interest for future weekends, please don't delay, contact the Equine Centre directly on:
